Elliptical Construction কাকে বলে?
Elliptical Construction refers to the elimination of certain words or phrases in a sentence to avoid repetition, while still keeping the meaning of the sentence intact.
Elliptical Construction বলতে বোঝায় এমন একটি বাক্য গঠন, যেখানে অর্থ অপরিবর্তিত রেখে পুনরাবৃত্তি এড়াতে কিছু শব্দ বা শব্দসমষ্টিকে বাদ দেওয়া হয়। এটি বাক্যকে সংক্ষিপ্ত, স্পষ্ট এবং সহজবোধ্য করে তোলে।

Elliptical Construction এর প্রকারভেদ (Types of Elliptical Construction)
Elliptical Construction-এর তিনটি প্রধান প্রকার রয়েছে:
- Noun Ellipsis
- Verb Ellipsis

1. Noun Ellipsis:
Noun Ellipsis হলো যখন বাক্যের অর্থ ঠিক রেখে পুনরাবৃত্তি এড়ানোর জন্য noun বাদ দেওয়া হয়। অর্থাৎ বাক্যে পুনরায় noun ব্যবহার না করে বাক্যের গঠন সহজ করা হয়।
Noun Ellipsis occurs when a noun is omitted to avoid repetition, but the meaning of the sentence remains unchanged.

- আমি চকলেট ভালোবাসি এবং আমার মা-ও (চকলেট ভালোবাসেন)।

2. “And” এবং “so” দিয়ে Elliptical Construction:

- আহানা কর্মঠ, এবং জারিনাও (কর্মঠ)।
Ahana is active, and so is Zarina.
3. “And” এবং “either” দিয়ে (Negative sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত):

4. “And” এবং “neither” দিয়ে (Negative sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত):
