One night Haji Mohammad Mohsin was saying his prayer in his dark room. It was midnight. The room was quite silent. Mohsin was in deep meditation of Allah. All on a sudden a thief entered into his room.
He caught the thief red-handed. He looked pale and poor. He was trembling with fear. He begged Mohsin, again and again, to set him free. Mohsin asked him why he stole. He again asked the thief if he didn’t know that stealing is a great sin.
The thief narrated why he was compelled to steal. Hearing his sorrows and sufferings Mohsin became sympathetic and gave him money. He told the thief to come whenever he was in difficulty. Mohsin advised him not to steal.
He also suggested the thief start a shop with the money he was giving him. The thief was pleased enough and thanked Mohsin with all his heart. He went home and started a shop. From that day he not only giving up stealing but also became an honest businessman.
